What do the signs on the Phaistos Disc say?
A disc of fired clay found in 1908 at the Minoan palace of Phaistos on Crete. Both sides carry a spiral of 242 stamped signs of 45 kinds, pressed in with a separate stamp for each sign. No one has read it, and its purpose and place of manufacture remain disputed. It is in the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.

Nobody has read a single word of this book. Following the hands it passed through, the signature erased from its first page and the date of its parchment shows how far the case has been carried and where it stops. Decipherments have been announced many times; none has been accepted.
Voynich manuscriptThe Voynich scriptRadiocarbon datingWilfrid Voynich+5In December 1872 a ship was found alone in the mid Atlantic, still under sail. Who built it is still unanswered.
