What do the signs on the Phaistos Disc say?
A disc of fired clay found in 1908 at the Minoan palace of Phaistos on Crete. Both sides carry a spiral of 242 stamped signs of 45 kinds, pressed in with a separate stamp for each sign. No one has read it, and its purpose and place of manufacture remain disputed. It is in the Heraklion Archaeological Museum.

Voynich manuscriptThe Voynich scriptRadiocarbon datingWilfrid Voynich+5In December 1872 a ship was found alone in the mid Atlantic, still under sail. She was seaworthy and her cargo was aboard; her people were not. Who built it is still unanswered.
