What happened to the two young princes lodged in the Tower of London?
When Edward IV died suddenly in April 1483, twelve-year-old Edward V and his nine-year-old brother Richard were lodged in the Tower of London by their uncle. The uncle was crowned Richard III that July, and there is no record of anyone seeing the boys after that summer. Two children's skeletons dug up at the Tower in 1674 have never been proven to be theirs.

Nobody has read a single word of this book. Following the hands it passed through, the signature erased from its first page and the date of its parchment shows how far the case has been carried and where it stops. Decipherments have been announced many times; none has been accepted.
Voynich manuscriptThe Voynich scriptRadiocarbon datingWilfrid Voynich+5In December 1872 a ship was found alone in the mid Atlantic, still under sail. She was seaworthy and her cargo was aboard; her people were not. Following the ship that found her, the port where the hearing was held, the cargo she carried and the missing boat separates what was recorded from what was added later.

Only a century after it was found, once there was a way to look inside, did it become clear that the device computed the positions of the heavens and the timing of eclipses. Who built it is still unanswered.
